First Fruits!
We are excited for Faith Community Church's First Newsletter!

We hope these "news letters" will show how God is moving at FCC and get you excited!

A few notes to catch you up! (promise these will get shorter)

  • Many of you receiving this remember our first "get together" at Pastor Chris' parents home on January 5th. We all got to witness the spirit really move through Chris and those with a heart to see something change in our own lives. 
  • On February 12th Pastor Chris began meeting with a board of "elders", which was quickly shortened to "board", and they have continued to meet, pray, and prepare weekly for what God was doing in the beginning of Faith Community Church. 
  • As of March 20th we are officially "Faith Community Church of Dallas" and will continue to work toward our 501(c)(3) designation. In the mean time all donations are still tax deductible and we can operate like any other church.
There are a few other minor details that we will be sharing soon but this catches us all up on where we are today. 

So what is next?

Most of "what's next" is still left up to God. We don't know where we will minister and worship from on a more permanent basis, but we feel Christ leading us to the "southern" area of Paulding. We don't know how many families will join with Pastor Chris on this adventure but we are excited to see what God will do in FCC. So what do we know...

  1. God is leading Pastor Chris to something new and exciting at Faith Community Church. This is where he has been called to be and where the Lord will greatly bless this church plant. Continue to pray!
  2. We need to get together in worship and fellowship. So we will have our first Faith Family Fellowship on April 7th! This will be an "unplugged" worship service for us all to worship our creator . . . and it will be in a barn! So join us as one body in fellowship and love.
  3. We need your support! We know God has great plans for FCC and that includes each person on this email list. Whether you are looking to make FCC your new church home or simply want to pray for FCC we need you all. Chris and Donna have stepped out in faith in a mighty way and we covet your prayers for them as we move forward in faith. If you are interested in giving see the commitment button at the bottom!
Some stuff to get EXCITED about...

Easter with the Walravens!

David & DeeDee Walraven have graciously offered to host a Palm Sunday Easter egg hunt for FCC Kids on April 14th. Join us immediately following our service for fellowship, lunch, and fun!

Easter service will be April 21st at 10:30am. 
 

FCC KIDS!

We are excited to introduce kids to the Savior in creative ways that will help them lay a spiritual foundation to last a lifetime. It is our joy to help children enter into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. 

OUR MISSION:
Equipping parents and volunteers to reach children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, connect them with our church family, and prepare them for service. 

"Life Groups" are happening!

We will be launching "Life Groups" as soon as possible and hope you will get plugged in with us! We will go over more details April 7th at the Faith Family Fellowship Service but if you are interested in opening your home one night a week to host a group of two to three families for devotional time and fellowship please reach out to one of our board members; link to email below!

We believe in starting a bit later so your morning worship can start at home and then continue with worship and fellowship with the FCC family!
